Help Gabriel Lopez Leave His Abusive Household
Donation protected
GET GABRIEL LOPEZ OUT OF HIS VERBALLY AND PHYSICALLY ABUSIVE HOME!
Gabriel Lopez is a beautiful friend in so many people's lives, including mine. Over the past four years of our friendship I've heard about his terrible home situation with his mother. She has continuously abused him since he was a young child and has continued to through today. Just yesterday (January 6th, 2021) he admitted himself to a psychological evaluation. Myself and his other close friends have yet to have heard from him. Gabriel struggles with severe depression and cannot afford any mental health services. His mother has drained his happiness and stole it away from him, to the point of being suicidal. I am asking everyone that sees this from the bottom of my heart, please donate and help us get him away from her. He works a minimum wage job that his mother demands him to give a percentage of his earnings to her. He also depends on most of his earnings to continue his work to be a professional photographer. There is no way he will be able to move out any time soon with the amount of money he has working his job. Me, and so many others need Gabriel in our lives, and we CANNOT let his mother win. He is only 18, there are so many amazing things ahead of him in his life. Again, I am asking to please, please, PLEASE help him out of his situation. The longer he stays with her the quicker it will take for something terrible to happen.
If you are interested in Gabriel’s photography (his one true beautiful stable thing in his life besides his friends), please check out his instagram @gabrielslopez. He was recently featured in the magazine i-D. His work is no joke and he deserves more time to create and get his beautiful images recognized. He also has a website.
He has helped myself and so many others with their own mental illnesses. He is one of the biggest support systems in many people’s lives. We need him here. Thank you for reading and please donate any amount you can. This situation has gone on for too long.
