Hi everyone,

I’m Andrea, proud mom of Gabriel. Recently, Gabriel tried out for the ESPN Ideal Sports program, affiliated with Walt Disney World, and he made it! ⚽️ His coaches immediately recognized his talent, skill, and passion, and he was invited to join long-term. Around the same time, he was also accepted into the Orlando City Competitive Club Pre-Academy at Lake Nona. Both programs are incredible opportunities for him to grow not only as an athlete, but as a young man with drive, discipline, and heart.

As a single mom of two, I do everything I can to invest in my kids and give them every opportunity possible. But the truth is, the costs of these programs, registration, uniforms, and training, add up to about $3,000, more than I can cover on my own right now. I’ve asked the questions, done the research, and shown up to countless tryouts, and now I’m in the position of weighing the pros and cons to decide what’s best for Gabriel. I’m doing my due diligence to make sure he gets the most out of this opportunity, because I’m not the athlete, he is, but my job as his parent is to guide and support him every step of the way.

When I told him we might have to wait, I saw the disappointment in his eyes, and I knew I had to try everything before letting this chance pass him by. That’s why I’m here. Even $5 or even $1 helps bring him one step closer. And if you can’t give, a simple share or prayer means just as much.

I don’t ask for help lightly. This comes from a place of love and faith, and a deep belief in Gabriel’s future, his talent, and his hard work. I’m just asking for a little help from those who believe in him too.
