Help Gabi Recover from a Serious Motorcycle Accident

Yesterday, my sister-in-law, Gabi, was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. While we are grateful that she is still with us, she has sustained significant injuries. Gabi was hit from the left side by another motorcyclist who crossed the double yellow into her lane while she was going 20 mph.

As a result, Gabi has suffered several fractures, including a compound fracture in her left tibia and fibula, and fractures in her left femur and to her scapula. Additionally, her left hand has multiple fractures in the metacarpals and the smallest two fingers. Today, she is undergoing the first surgery.

Gabi's bike was completely totaled in the accident, and this marks the beginning of a long road to recovery. She will be unable to work for the foreseeable future, and the medical expenses are expected to be overwhelming.
