Help Me get to Rome for a jiujitsu competition!

Hi, my names is Gabi I’m a student athlete training out of Art Of Jiujitsu in Costa Mesa California. I’m a purple belt under Mendes Bros. I was raised in a small town in LA called Boyle Heights. I started my jiujitsu journey in 2017. I had no idea how much it was going to impact my life, jiujitsu has given me strength, hope, dreams, and the confidence to pursue them. Before jiujitsu I was in a very dark place. My whole life has been a constant battle with depression and anxiety with caused a lot of anger t build up and it lead me to gangs, drugs/alcohol and violence. Thanks to jiujitsu I now have a great way to cope with my mental health! My main goal with jiujitsu after I earn my black belt, is to open up a nonprofit or school in LA where I can provide a safe space for troubled teens, youth and even adults. Especially the families that deal/suffer from domestic violence or bullying. By providing this I hope to give those fighting any type of mental health or trauma a place where they can learn how to cope with their issues in a positive way!

However before I can get to my dream I need to compete and since the pandemic hit most tournaments are out of state. With that being said I’m seeking financial help to travel and compete as much as I can to become a world champion. This seasons first tournament touches down in Rome Italy Mid February. I hope you guys can help anything helps and all is truly appreciated!!!
