Hi everyone, recently I had two back to back brain surgeries on Saturday and Sunday September 9th & 10th 2023. Unfortunately there were complications and it left me with severe paralysis on my left side. I couldn’t hold myself up, roll over, walk, stand, use my left arm/hand, etc. I lost control over my bowels and bladder. At one point I actually coded and it wasn’t looking very good. after almost 4 weeks in the hospital, I have been medically cleared to transition to inpatient rehabilitation. I have been accepted into the Shepherd Center in ATL. Which is one of the top 10 in the country. My fiancés cousin is doing a fundraising event on Saturday September 30th. I hate asking for help because I know there are people out there that need it more. But we are in a really tight spot right now since I cannot work for a little while.
