Hi, my name is Hilary, and this is my cat Gabe. As a stray kitten, he faced a lot of adversity: he survived being shot at (nick in his ear) and falling into a vat of grease trying to get food, among other things.

So his foster parent named him Gabriel for his strength at persevering over his early struggles. He is a loving, playful cat who loves cuddling and chasing a feather on a string.

He is now facing his biggest challenge - a tumor in his mouth, and a tooth that needs to be removed. The vet has told us that it’s a tumor that can successfully be removed because it’s sitting on top of his gums and connected by a small amount of tissue to the gum lining.

The problem is that it’s going to cost us over $2000.00, and my husband is finally starting a new job after being unemployed for 8 months. We also have another cat and three dogs to take care of. We absolutely love all of our animals so much and would be grateful for any help we could get during this difficult time. Thank you.
