Gabby, my sister, is going through something really hard right now with her sweet 5-year-old Dalmatian, Oliver. He was recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, which has already been a huge adjustment emotionally and financially. Just as she was starting to figure that out, Oliver developed a urinary blockage and now needs urgent surgery to be able to live a normal, healthy life. This has been a lot on Gabby. She loves her dogs like family, and watching Oliver go through this has honestly been heartbreaking for her.
The money raised will go directly toward Oliver getting the surgery he needs—a perineal urethrostomy—along with any other care his vet recommends. This procedure is critical and will give him the chance to feel better and enjoy life again.
If you know Gabby, you know she is the kind of person who always shows up for everyone else. She works three jobs, takes care of herself and her two dogs, and is always the first to help someone in need without thinking twice. Now she’s the one who needs support, and she truly deserves it. Anything you’re able to give would mean so much—not just for Oliver’s health, but for Gabby’s heart too. Even sharing this helps more than you know. Thank you for being part of helping Oliver get back to a happy, healthy life.
