Hi! My name is Gabby Becerra and I’m currently a freshman studying Musical Theatre at Nazareth University in Rochester, NY. Nazareth partners with an organization called Performing Arts Abroad that allows students to travel to London and take master classes from fabulous West End professionals. This opportunity is amazing, but very expensive. My family has had very little money growing up, and I was financially raised primarily from my single mother. That being said, this trip excited me when I heard of it, but I knew deep down it would be extremely difficult to find the money to make it possible. A lot factors into this London experience: the initial program fee (being the most expensive), travel insurance, my passport, airfare, housing, food, shows, and more. I am hoping to raise a total of $5,000, but any small amount helps to get me closer towards this experience that can help me hone my craft, create a lifetime of memories, and continue pursuing my dreams.
