Many of my friends & family didn’t know I have been battling the diagnosis of a  
rare brain cancer since December 2019. At 25 years old my entire world did a 180. I went from being a Cardiac Registered
Nurse , Energetic mother to a 6 year old, and lively young woman in my twenties , to a full time immunocompromised 
patient.  I am thankful to God that I have survived the 3 brain surgeries needed to fully remove my brain tumor. I also
completed proton radiation. I am now on the last portion of my recovery .
Chemotherapy! I was hoping to return to work soon after , however my oncologist has substantially  delayed my return
 amid Covid-19.  That hasn’t stopped the medical bills from piling up .

I cannot wait until I’m back chasing in
behind my son and back at the bedside
caring for others as the RN, which is my
passion.  But until safe I am just praying
