Help Gabby Beat Cancer's Ass

On Aug 5, 2024, we took our daughter Gabby to the emergency room because she was having a very hard time breathing. CT scans showed a large mass over her heart and between her lungs, and she has since been admitted to Memorial Herman in the Med Center. Further scans revealed the mass was pressing on her pulmonary arteries and restricting her airway. Biopsy results are pending, but her medical team have already begun cancer treatments. The good news is that she has responded really well in just the last 24 hours in terms of the secondary symptoms not being such an issue.

Fortunately, she is covered under both mine and her mother's various insurance plans, but we will be facing long term issues with making sure deductibles are met to ensure treatment is not delayed, as well as expenses that are not cover under insurance. Our funding goal is to be able to at least hit the OOP Max of $16K for this year.
