Help Gabbi Perform at Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Hi, my name is Gabbi. I'm currently finishing my junior year of high school. This year, I found my love for musical theater and performed in my high school's production of Legally Blonde the Musical. I intend to audition for my school's musical in the spring of my senior year as well. Weehawken High School Theater Department has been invited to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2026. This is an honor bestowed on only 25 high schools in North America! The Edinburgh Fringe Festival is the largest professional theater festival in the world, with over 4,000 theatrical performances from around the world participating. It is an incredible opportunity for myself and my peers to not just experience, but to be active participants. Many well-known actors have gotten their start at the Fringe, such as Robin Williams, Alan Rickman, Emma Thompson, Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, and Jude Law.

It is a comprehensive trip! We leave from Newark and travel to London, where we'll spend 2.5 days. We'll see at least one show on the West End, tour and sightsee, as well as have our own private Shakespeare Masterclass on stage at Shakespeare's Globe Theater. We'll then travel by bus and spend the remaining 10 days in Edinburgh performing and seeing as many shows as we can before we return home.
