Let's Help Grant Rebuild His Beloved Camp Kitchen Trailer
On September 4th 2025, an unimaginable accident turned Grant’s life upside down. His handmade kitchen trailer, which was part of his mobile home, part of his livelihood, and a hub for socialising, was driven into a ditch along with his Delta truck. Both were completely destroyed. The Delta is now a total loss, and the kitchen trailer, which Grant has carefully built over a decade is nearly destroyed. The incredible amount of work, creativity, and love that went into it has been wiped out in an instant.
This wasn't just any food trailer. It was a solar-powered mobile kitchen and restaurant, the result of years of hard work, built with love. He had finally finished it and it was used as a food stall at a festival ... when on its way to another festival, it was destroyed.
For years, it has fed countless people at festivals, camps, and gatherings. Many of us have shared meals from it, warmed not just by the food, but by Grant’s incredible generosity, talent, dedication to his community and friends.
Grant is the kind of person who gives freely. He has fed so many of us, often for free, and he never asks for anything in return. He is strong, humble, and proud—and he would never ask for help. But right now, he desperately needs it.
This trailer wasn’t just a food stall; it was Grant’s home kitchen and a means of income. Without it, he'll struggle. The impact of this loss is devastating, both personally and financially.
Now, that same community has a chance to show up again—to help Grant get back on his feet.
Funds raised will go directly toward:
- Recovering the wreckage from the ditch and having it relocated.
- Storage and rebuilding costs for what remains of the trailer.
- Replacing essential equipment and materials that were destroyed.
- Covering temporary living and cooking facilities for Grant as he rebuilds.
Let’s rally around someone who has given and helped so much to all of us. He has built tat which others couldn't. He has helped us make our dreams a reality.
