Help Gerardo & Elsa Rebuild: Twins on the way

Hello everyone,

We are Kyu and Eunice, and we are friends of Gerardo “G“ and Elsa. We met them when they moved from Mexico to Jersey City in 2019, and we attend the same church.

I am reaching out to you all today to help raise funds for our friends Gerardo and Elsa. They recently faced a devastating event when a neighboring fire displaced them from their home. To make matters worse, Gerardo and Elsa are expecting twins in just about a month's time. They lost everything they had prepared for the babies, including cribs, clothes, car seats, strollers, and all the other essentials that new parents need.

To add to the difficulties, their house suffered structural damages, which require gut renovations. The cost of this renovation is a daunting challenge for them, and they will not be able to return home until July.

As friends, we want to do everything we can to support Gerardo and Elsa during this difficult time. If you had the honor of knowing them, you know that they are the kindest and most servant-hearted people, and they are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their twins.

I am setting up this GoFundMe campaign to help raise funds to support Gerardo and Elsa. Every dollar counts and will go towards helping them rebuild their lives and provide a safe and comfortable home for their growing family. Specifically, your funds will:

Gerardo will be invited to be a beneficiary for this GoFundMe campaign so that he can automatically transfer the money that we raise, and receive it directly into his bank account. This means that I, as the organizer, do not have access to the funds myself, and Gerardo has sole control of the funds.
