Our 4th-year culinary class has worked hard all year, pouring our hearts into learning, cooking, and growing together as future chefs. We’ve spent countless hours cooking side by side, sharing laughter, challenges, and dreams of one day becoming chefs who make a difference. We’ve been given an incredible opportunity to take an educational trip to Hawaii — a once-in-a-lifetime experience where we’ll learn about diverse cuisines, sustainable farming, and local culture. This trip would not only expand our culinary skills but also inspire us to bring what we learn back to our community. For many of us, this would be our first time traveling so far, and it would mean the world to experience something so special together.
