Help further Juan's education

Donation protected
My name is Juan Villagran and I graduated high school in Shoshone Idaho. I am now attending Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona to become a Physical Therapist. Last year due to my outstanding academic performance, I was awarded acceptance into the Yavapai College Honors Program. In order to gain acceptance into this program, I had to graduate at the top of my class, obtain two letters of recommendation, and write an outstanding essay. In order to keep my membership, I had to complete 30 hours of community service and 20 hours of leadership each year, maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA, and take a minimum of 13 credit hours per semester.  This program offered me near full tuition and free campus housing. Without this scholarship, I would not have been able to attend this college and had the opportunity to further my education. While in this program, I was given the opportunity to give back to the community through service, participate in community outreach, and go on annual educational trips. Not only did the program allow me to participate in the community, but I was also constantly surrounded by hard-working, intelligent, and motivated peers that continually pushed me to work harder and be a better student. The people in this program are not only my friends, but they have become my family and they have completely changed my life. On top of being an honors student, I am also a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) recipient. This means that in order to escape a dangerous, war-torn country and to provide boundless opportunities to their children, my parents brought me to America when I was just two years old. Unfortunately due to recent Arizona Legislation, As a DACA recipient, I can no longer receive institutional funds.  This means that even though I exceeded the academic expectations required of me to remain in the honors program,  I was stripped of my scholarship and my membership into the honors program and I will now have to pay out-of-state tuition as well. I did everything I was supposed to do to maintain my scholarship, but solely because I am a DACA student, that is being taken away. I have started this GoFundMe because now I need extra help to continue on the path to furthering my education and achieving my ultimate goal of becoming a Physical Therapist. I would greatly appreciate your help by donating or sharing this with your friends and family. Thank you.
