Help FuQuan Rebuild After 28 Years Wrongfully Convicted
Donation protected

[1997 mugshot]
Rickey "FuQuan" McGee has been fighting to regain his freedom after being wrongfully incarcerated for close to 28 years. He is soon to be transitioning back out into a world that is far different than the one he has left behind. Although FuQuan is known as a trans-generational social justice advocate and a motivational force to an innumerable amount of people whom he has crossed paths with, he is also someone in need of our assistance as he makes the incredible leap back out into society.
FuQuan was 19 when he was wrongfully incarcerated in 1997 and he is now 47 years young. During his incarceration, he elevated himself from being a high school dropout to tirelessly becoming one of the most educated, selfless, and consistent change agents seen in the Massachusetts prison system in the last quarter century. He is trying to raise $35,000 to assist him with inevitable expenses that would likely confront anyone who has been removed from the community for as long as he has. Food, transportation, medical expenses, housing, phone bills, laptop access, clothing, and all general areas associated with living expenses provide just a glimpse of the need items that we know await him as soon as he departs the correctional setting.
It is exciting to know that FuQuan will finally be coming home in the very near future and with that said, we ask for any and all to donate what you can. For the many who have truly built a relationship with FuQuan, he asks that you provide what you feel you would have donated to you if the roles were reversed and you needed his help.
Let's meet our goal by August 15th, 2025, the week after his evidentiary hearing (August 4th-7th, 2025) for a new trial, additionally, the week before he sees the parole board (August 21st, 2025) for the first time! Thank you!
