Help the Funnell's last few weeks with cancer

Help Fergus through these last few weeks with his mum Lucy

Hi everyone, my name is Marley and I'm looking to raise funds for one of my closest friends Fergus as he spends these last few weeks with his mother Lucy who's been fighting cancer for the last 9 months. After surgery and two rounds of chemotherapy, she has returned home to live out her final weeks with family and friends. After a strong start the ovarian cancer (ovarie cancer) returned and spread fast. Originally the family expected around 5 years together which has now turned into weeks.

How will your support help the Funnells

These funds are to support Fergus while he spends this time with his family and works through the emotional challenges to come. The funds will be spent on basic living costs to buffer the loss of immediate earnings and any remaining funds will be spent on supporting his mental health from counselling sessions to a favourite meal to soothe a bad day. For all of us who know Fergus, Lucy and Rich this is an opportunity to give a thought and a small thank you for all the good times and happiness they have helped share.

Our donations will allow Fergus to spend this precious and finite time with his family without worrying about the trivial financial pressures of life. What this help means to Fergus and the family is far beyond my ability to explain, but the memories of these last few weeks will stay with them forever. I hope this finds you all in good health and in a position to help, we have all struggled in some way this year but the good-hearted nature of people will see us all through :).
