Help Funeral Expense for Kimberly Truong

Dear family and friends of Kimberly (Kim) Truong,

My name is Martha Nguyen and I am the cousin of Kim. She was admitted to the hospital on August 11, 2021 after having difficulty breathing. Kim was fully vaccinated with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, but was still tested positive with Covid 19. She developed pneumonia and her condition worsened. She remained in the hospital until her passing on September 17, 2021 at the young age of 29.

Kim and her parents migrated to the United States in 2004. She graduated from Cal State Los Angles with a degree in public health science major. She had been the sole source of income for her parents who are unable to work due to old age and other health conditions. Kim devoted her time in volunteering at church and with multiple charitable groups in the community. She was beloved by everyone around her. I am sure you would have felt her laughter, care, enthusiasm, energy and sweetness when you meet her. Her loss is still sudden and unexpected to the family. We are completely heartbroken and shattered.

In addition to coping with the loss, her family must also be dealing with their difficult financial situation. Your generous contributions would mean the world to her parents to cover for Kim’s funeral expenses and to assist them in adjusting to the new change.
