Help fundraise for The Winnie Mabaso Foundation
Donation protected
I am heading off on a solo trip to South Africa on the 7th March to work with The Winnie Mabaso Foundation.
The Winnie Mabaso Foundation was founded in 2004 after a British traveller, Lisa Ashton, met Winnie Mabaso. At the time, Winnie was almost single handedly caring for orphans and vulnerable children living in the local township, providing them with bowls of soup and armfuls of love. Sadly, just a few short months after opening her safe-haven for the children, Winnie sadly passed away. Lisa was determined to continue the hard work, and to this day, the foundation has continued to grow. The foundations continues to support vulnerable and orphaned children in South Africa, particularly those living with HIV/AIDS, as well as spreading their care and support to the older generations.
During my time in South Africa, I will be supporting the pre-school, homework club, mum and baby groups and even going on a vacation to the seaside with the granny club.
I understand life is tough for all right now with the cost of living on the increase, however I would love to raise as much as possible for this amazing foundation. I will be forever grateful for anything you can spare.
Thank you!
