Help Fundraise for Armando Quezada's Funeral

Donation protected
My name is Kaylee Quezada, and I am setting up this fundraiser for my father's funeral,  Armando Quezada. On April 19, 2021 at 7:40am my family and I had received the unfortunate news of my father's passing. Back in 2012 my father was diagnosed with Cholangioarcinoma cancer (stage 2). After 3 stressful months of him acquiring treatment and months away from home, he thankfully was in remission. My dad was in the clear for five years, until 2017, when the doctor’s had told him that he had progressed to stage 4. As you can imagine, my family and I were once again heartbroken, and even more terrified because of how much  it had progressed. Despite how in despair we all were, my dad had such a strong mindset, that he was the one comforting us, and he was the one who was determined to live the rest of his life not a victim to cancer, but as another obstacle that my family would have to face and get through once again. My father had asked the doctor’s if they knew what his life expectancy was, and the doctors had told him that he had outlived the life expectancy that they had for him. I am convinced that till this day, it was my dad’s faith and his determination and positive mindset that gave us a few more years with his beautiful soul. These past years, my dad has managed to work two jobs and provide for his family of eight, despite losing over 100 pounds, becoming physically weak and still receiving treatment. It wasn’t until May of 2020, that my father had to walk away from work, but he was still the same strong minded, determined positive man that I knew, who wouldn't stop fighting despite his odds. Even when my father was angry with how fragile he was becoming and how stressful and frustrating things were, he took care of his family, and that in itself is just a small example of his amazing character and the person that he was. My father has touched the hearts and lives of so many people, and I ask that you please help in raising the funds to provide him the funeral he deserves. Thank you and God Bless.
