Help Fundraise Experimental Film "Etcetera"

Hey there, thanks for checking us out, I'm Nevan Bickel, the writer and director for Etcetera.

What is Etcetera?

Etcetera is an experimental narrative film following two groups deep in the woods as they face off in an unconventional battle of wit, strategy, and endurance. The film explores themes of human nature as we witness a battle between two groups and their own perspectives throughout the story. It is a story where music and narrative intertwine to create a visually unique experience.

Project Details:

Etcetera will begin filming in late April 2024, and will require a lot of work across 3 weekends to film. With such a scale, every dollar donated will help us achieve the vision we see for this project. Our goal is to create a 20 minute film, allowing us to tell both sides of this unique story.

We need your support:

With a team already selected to work on this project, Etcetera requires help in getting the resources needed to cover various productions costs, including professional equipment, location fees, props, set-design, post-production expenses, and more. With your help, you'll enable us to cover the following:

Gear/Equipment: $1,600

Transportation: $900

Props/Set Design: $950

Make-Up/Costuming: $350

Craft/Supplies: $800

VFX: $300

What's Next?

With your donations, we'll be able to begin purchasing equipment, set-design pieces, and other various needs to hone in on the design for our film. Our goal is to have the whole film ready to go before production even begins, allowing us to minimize any problems that may arise during filming.

As we get further into the production process, you'll receive updates on it's progress after every weekend of filming, as well as updates on the project's development once we get into post-production. Our goal is to be transparent with where the film is going, and you'll be able to find updates and information here on our page.

Our goal is to have this film ready by the end of 2024, where ideally we can submit it to festivals and other various events to be screened. We will also post updates on this as get closer to finishing the project out.

Every donor will also receive their name as a credit within the film when it is released.
