Help funding travel costs for Jerich’s family
Donation protected
My name is Tania Morey, Jerich’s sister. My brother is in St. John regional hospital Jerich was in an induced coma with COVID pneumonia almost two months. We were told he wouldn’t make it, we were told he wouldn’t wake up, and that if he did he wouldn’t be able to move. We are so thankful for all of the ceremonies, prayers, donations, and all the love we have received. Jerich is a true miracle ❤️ He is awake! Jerich is expressing his needs with facial expressions and making words with his lips. He was assisted in sitting up today! He is moving his extremities, literally lifting his head up off the bed and trying to sit up on his own. Jerich still has the ecmo and ventilator to help him breathe, but he is doing more on his own each day. Raeann, Jerich’s wife, and I are able to visit on a daily basis now. We sing to him, and are able to do ceremony while we visit. We offer tobacco and smudge outside the hospital before and after we visitWe take the children to the ocean, and we go into the woods collecting and making medicines that we need for his healing. We wash him with sweet grass soap, and oil, bear grease medicines, and sage. We continue traveling back and forth from Tobique to bring the kids closer when we can. Continued support for Raeann and our family during this time is beyond words of gratitude❤️Each day we see positive change, he is our miracle. Love is the most powerful force in the universe. Raeann and I will be learning more to help care for Jerich as he gets stronger. Jerich has a long way to go❤️Woliwon thank you so much for your continued support.
