Help Fundi Stay in the U.S. to Achieve Her Dreams

Hello! My name is Fundi, and I'm a second-year international student from Johannesburg, South Africa, pursuing my dreams of higher education in the United States. Growing up, I always dreamed of studying abroad, and my hard work and dedication finally opened the door for me to achieve this goal.

However, the journey has not been easy. My mother, my greatest supporter, has made tremendous financial sacrifices to cover my tuition over the past year. However, as a single parent, this has placed a significant strain on her finances back home. As an international student in the U.S., my options for financial aid are limited, and I now face the risk of not being able to continue my studies.

I am an International Relations and Business double major with a passion for civic engagement and immigration policy, and I hope to use my education to create meaningful change in the world. During my time at my university, I have embraced every opportunity to grow, from leadership roles in clubs and societies in my school to participating in campus initiatives that reflect my values and commitment to making a difference. However, I need your help to stay on this path.
