Help Fund Zhi Lu's Recovery

Zhi Lu (they/he) is a Chinese trans asylum seeker residing on Lenape land (known as New York). They are a tattooer, an anti-disciplinary artist, and beloved community member. They have been living and working as a freelance artist and tattooer in the States without any biological family near him/financial support to rely on.

Over the past two years, they have been greatly struggling with a worsening chronic health condition while working to make ends meet, but unfortunately they have reached a point of urgency in needing support from community.

This October, after waking up in an ambulance and experiencing a few other very alarming incidents, they decided to check into an inpatient program and since then, has paused all work commitments and other life obligations.

They are asking for help from community to help cover owed rent, utility bills and other living expenses while they focus on their recovery, physical and mental health at this critical time.
