Help Fund Youth Theatre

For my birthday this year, I’m asking for your help in creating the Haverhill Performing Arts Workshop (HPAW); a new non-profit theatrical organization for Haverhill youth.

Since my last post about wanting to start a youth theatrical and artistic group in the Haverhill area, a lot of progress has been made.

As you’re well aware from past years of me posting about our former group, what we do is neither cheap nor easy. If we obtain a non-profit status, the rights to a junior production of any given musical is roughly $2k. Without a non-profit status, we’re looking at close to $10k.

Costumes cost a few thousand dollars as well, as do venues, rehearsal spaces, make-up, lights… the list goes on.

Therefore, I’m asking you to make a donation of any size to my efforts in creating new and exciting opportunities for the youth of Haverhill and beyond. Any amount will help, but our goal is to raise $10,000 by the end of June in order to kickstart our efforts.

For the time being, I’m paying out of pocket to fund our efforts. I’m hoping that with your help, I can alleviate some of the financial pressure this can cause in the coming months for me.

Times are tough, and I’m sympathetic to everyone and their individual situations; just think about how much of a difference you can make for so many lives if you donate even $5 to our project.
