I've never used Go Fund Me before, and honestly never thought I would ever have to.

My doggie, Yoshi, is seven years old. I got him from the SPCA in San Francisco as a two and half old puppy and he has been by my side ever since!

Anyone who's met him knows he's a very quirky, fun-loving ball of energy!

Unfortunately, I have come to find he was born with a very bad back, which can be common in Chihuahuas.

Earlier this week, he had an accident and lost use of both of his hind legs. After a frantic trip to the Emergency vet and several tests later, it was determined he has degenerative disc disease and a disc in his vertebrae had been badly hurt in his accident.

He is currently paralyzed and awaiting surgery. 

To get him back to walking, he will need what is called a hemi-laminectomy. It's a very specialized surgery and is very expensive. 

I am asking from the bottom of my heart for any support, be it financial or otherwise, because he has a long road ahead of him.

It would literally mean the world to me. 

He is still young and I want him with us for as long as possible.
