Help Fund WHS’s Free Girls Soccer Camp

The Wooster High School Lady Colts soccer program is hosting a free girls soccer camp! The camp will take place October 11th and 12th (Washoe County School District’s fall break) from 10:30 am – 3:00 pm, and is open to all girls ages 10-14. It’s an opportunity for girls to learn soccer skills in an environment of their peers, and under the leadership of Varsity soccer athletes. Featured will be a talk from Kelly O’Neil, former UCLA triathlete and astrophysics instructor at UNR. Girls will learn basic soccer skills, participate in agility and strength training, play active games, face off in scrimmages, and learn the importance of actively taking care of their bodies. A snack and lunch will be provided over each four and a half hour session, and the camp will finish off with a tournament for the title of 2024 WHS Camp Champions.

This camp provides free instruction and food, so any donations will go to equipment, snacks, and lunches.
