For the past year and a half, Valery has been dealing with an undiagnosed condition that is attacking her nerves making her muscles weak. On Sunday, October 30th, 2022, she was admitted to the emergency room because she lost the ability to walk.

As a single mother, she works very hard on staff for her church. But because she is in the hospital, she cannot work to pay for her 2-year-old daughter to go to daycare, the hospital bills, car bills, etc. She will be in the hospital doing physical therapy for the foreseeable future, so she won't be able to work. She cannot see her daughter in the hospital due to Covid restrictions so this has been really hard on her.
