Help fund UWE Drama Society bring their show to the Fringe!
Hi, we're UWE Drama Society!
And we're working hard to get ready to take our show to Edinburgh Fringe!
Tickets here: https://www.edfringe.com/tickets/whats-on/messiah
As always we're aiming to create opportunities, and this year we want to make it as accessible as possible for people to join us- and we're asking for your help to support our team!
Your donation:
Any donation counts to us, and will go towards our venue, our travel and our accommodation! We put all the money we receive straight back into our shows and the well good of the society.
More about the show:
In a post-war society, two dear friends, Null and Kels, find themselves at odds when Kels falls into a new-wave movement fronted by the ever-charismatic Asher. Loyalties are questioned and ideologies challenged. Asher’s continued growth, aided by their right-hand Beau, asks questions of Null that leads them to abandon their self-imposed isolation. In an attempt to bring down a movement, and an individual that echoes the very thing they claim to be vehemently opposed against, Null does their best to stand up against Asher, ultimately losing Kels in the process and leaving the futures of all those involved uncertain.
Concept and Original Script by UWE's Joshua John. Directed by Bear Wild. Edinburgh Edition written and AD'd by Bunny Else.
Our Cast: Lara-Jean Strawson, Evie Slater-Jones, Holly Dawson, Will Rodgers.

More about us:
We're a group of students who love theatre and putting on shows throughout the year- we work hard to provide opportunities to all, and create an environment where people feel welcomed and happy to perform. The Fringe is a huge event for our society, our group travelling over 300 miles, devoting our summers, and ourselves to create our professional show of the year. Fringe provides an opportunity for networking for our society, an opportunity for our actors to perform at a world-renowned festival, a chance for writers to get their work out their, and for our society to make an impact.
We've already worked hard over the year to make money with our other shows and we are consistently holding fundraisers, but if you can't make it in person, we'd love to have your support here.
