Help fund us taking our show to the Camden Fringe!

Hello all!

I'm Rhys and I am raising money to help fund transferring my little show to this year's Camden Fringe at the Courtyard Theatre!

The "Only gay in the Village" is an autobiographical drag show detailing the story of growing up in rural Wales and championing through to achieve full acceptance in ones queerness. The femme-tastic story, shares an explosion of humour, heart and honesty, whilst tackling the experience of gay shame in a complicated current society. The story uses self reflection and analysis to deep dive into the hardships and isolation that being gay can cause whilst being raised in the welsh countryside, but also the beauty and tenacity that's waiting on the other side of authentic expression. Accompanied by an all female band, live music and lights, throughout the camp glitter and sparkles, the truth of this story still remains, truly discovering what it feels like to be, the only gay in the village.

Taking this show alongside my musical director Emmy Grace Davis is nothing short of a pleasure, but there are obviously expenses. Any donation or help would be deeply appreciated in bringing the personal and little Welsh story to life!
