Hi, I’m Danielle! I’m a dancer/choreographer/director who is working on a passion project to facilitate more collaboration between dancers, choreographers, musicians, and composers, and I’m on a mission to bring artists of different disciplines together in the rehearsal room AND onstage.

This organization I’m building is called Sights and Sounds Collaborationworks. It’s not a dance company featuring musicians, and it’s not an orchestra that occasionally works with dancers—it’s everybody working together and sharing the spotlight equally.

THE MONOLOGUE DUETS

To begin, I’m inviting musicians and dancer/choreographers to work in pairs on performances that explore the beautiful solo instrument series “The Monologues,” by composer Erik Valdemar Sköld— with the stipulation that the choreography relates also to the movement of the musicians.

We’ve got a performance lined up for January 12th at Phys Fest NYC, and we’d love to see you there! However, I’m starting a GoFundMe because I would like to be able to pay my live performers well for their hard work and enthusiasm for this unique project, and I could use some help!
