Hello beautiful peoples,
I am Brayden Clay, creator of BCTV Studios and writer/director of “Toxic Skies”.
I am a film bachelors student at Full Sail University. I love to make short films outside of my classes to network and strengthen my skills on set. A fellow student, Jaxon Smith and I came up with this film and are set to shoot in March.
Why “TOXIC SKIES”?
As a college student it is difficult to jump right in and film a spectacular movie. Like any other movie, it takes hard work and sadly money. To make this film be the best it can be, I am reaching out to you to help with the cost of the production. Your contributions will go towards props, catering, travel costs, location, and film festival submission fees.
⚠️All contributors will be credited with a thank you in the films credits. This will will release on IMDB.⚠️
Synopsis:
In a world where the air itself is deadly, Kara, a desperate survivor from the last known safe city, embarks on a treacherous journey to find NOLA—a rumored safe haven. Pursued by ruthless Ravagers and running out of oxygen, she crosses paths with Lucio, a hardened loner with his own secrets and a dwindling supply of air. Reluctantly teaming up, they navigate the hostile wasteland, battling both external threats and their own mistrust. As danger escalates and their supplies dwindle, they must decide: cling to survival as strangers or risk everything by trusting each other.
So…this is where you come in?
Without generous people like yourselves, it wouldn't be possible to create a high quality film. It would mean the world if you left a donation, no matter how big or small. Even if you have no funds to donate, sharing this project with someone who might find it intriguing is awesome as well! Keep in mind, this film is a not-for-profit. Any money raised or made from this film, is being put straight back into the industry. Let’s show that it's possible for college filmmakers to create quality content!
Thank you so much for your time!
