Help fund Tony's medical bills

On 12/28, my father Tony underwent emergency stomach surgery after suffering from severe gastrointestinal pain due to a large perforation in his stomach lining that resulted in sepsis. The infection lead to kidney failure and DIC, a condition where blood both clots and bleeds simultaneously causing poor circulation to his extremities. He is currently in critical condition in the ICU where doctors have told us he's fighting for his life hour by hour.

 

Due to the nature of my father's condition, his medical expenses are difficult to predict and is medical insurance will only go so far towards meeting the cost associated with this event which is why I'm fundraising on his behalf. With this GoFundMe page, we’re hoping to raise funds to go towards medical, and possible ongoing care/living costs to make it easier on my dad and his family.

 

My dad's 60th birthday is in 13 days. A day he wanted to spend in Palm Springs relaxing and watching football (Go Rams!) His unwavering positivity and strength have supported myself through difficult times and helped sustain some friendships for over 45 years. He is a beloved son, father, brother and friend and the assistance from his community so far has been amazing making a very difficult time somewhat easier.
