Heeeellloooo everyone !

My name is Titi Kabi, a South African woman who’s passionate about creating inclusive safe spaces for all. Professionally, I’d describe myself as a brand marketing and social impact enthusiast on a journey to drive change through building brands that are a force for good. This is what brings me to starting this GoFundMe…

I’ve been accepted to study a Master of Science in Nonprofit Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania (USA) starting this August (2021) - whoop whoop . Through this degree, I hope to learn more about the nonprofit space, specifically nonprofits that are working towards reducing inequalities for marginalized communities. I aim to marry this new nonprofit knowledge with my existing business skills to find more ways that brands can work collaboratively with nonprofits to drive meaningful change.

I’ve unfortunately had to tap into my personal savings over the past couple of months to support my family, leaving me with little left to contribute towards my school expenses. I am also grateful to have received a partial scholarship from the university. Taking my savings and scholarship into account, I am still $77,932.00 short (I have updated this amount to $66,092,00 to reflect the recent position I got as a Graduate Resident Advisor which comes with free on-campus accommodation). I’ve looked tirelessly for additional funding but find myself without any options.

I’m turning to GoFundMe as a last resort, and would really appreciate your support (however big or small) to contribute to my dream and purpose of obtaining this degree.
