Support Tinkerbell's Chemo & Dietary Needs
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Mia and my dog, Tinkerbell, is in need of aid. In late June/early July, I noticed a mass growing from Tink's jaw and took her to Escalon Small Animal Clinic where they scheduled to remove the mass and send it to labs. Within the week, the mass was removed and Tink was healing fine until I noticed the mass grew back quickly. On July 22nd, we received a call from our vet. Tinkerbell has Canine Acanthomatous Ameloblastoma (CAA), requires radiation therapy, and needs to be seen by an oncologist. Our first consultation with an oncologist summed up to 2,000$. We're asking for financial assistance to get the treatment Tink needs to continue her long and happy life. Please consider donating and/or sharing this, no amount of kindness is too small. It would mean the world.
Who you're helping: Tinkerbell "Tinky/Tink/Stink" Flydog Checchi is a Black Lab and Akita mix. She's 12 years old and was born on February 4th (Aquarius baby!). She loves tennis balls, laying out in the sun, and swimming all summer long if you let her. She has an older brother (not biological) named Thunder, who she loves, and a younger cat brother named Lemon, who she tolerates, but secretly likes. She's half blind and has been for a long time but can still give you the side eye, no questions asked. She's active and loves life despite her age and we want to make sure she gets all her years' worth. I will be throwing her a quinceanera for her 15th.
Thank you for reading.
Edit: Upon Tinkerbell's appointment with the oncologist it was revealed that Tink has Metastatic Sarcoma. Sarcoma is a cancer of the bones and connective tissues. Radiation therapy for CAA is no longer a primary concern. Instead, she will be starting chemotherapy and will be put on a special diet to keep her strength. We will be making sure that she is happy, for everything she's done to help me and my family, that's all we can ever hope for, she is a strong pup and deserves happiness. Any support or share of this fund will not go unnoticed and we thank you for helping us keep her comfortable and happy.
