The Film Production Society is honored to announce our upcoming Fall 2024 short film “The Whizzinator.”
“The Whizzinator” is a comedic short written and directed by our one and only Sydney Freemyer!
Synopsis:
After a seemingly never-ending job search, Muriel, down-on-her-luck and eager to turn a new leaf on life, lands an interview for the Dollar Store. Her excitement is short-lived when she learns about a mandatory drug test. Supported by her ex-roller derby champion roommate, Ronnie, the pair devise an unconventional plan to get Muriel through her interview with the help of a prosthetic appendage.
Each semester, FPS hosts student-run films like this so every member can gain meaningful experience in the industry. But in order to create a fully functioning set, we need donations to support our talented crew, keep them fed, fund art and other equipment.
