The 2025 Two-Spirit Celebration Symposium & Powwow in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on October 3rd and 4th is designed to celebrate the unique position that Two Spirit people hold in Cherokee society.
This event will provide a gender affirming space for our diverse community.
The celebration begins on Friday October 3rd at 6PM with a Stomp Dance at the Cherokee Nation Cultural Grounds.
The Symposium will be on Saturday from 7:30AM to 12PM at the Tahlequah Public Library and feature cultural discussions and learning opportunities.
The celebration continues on Saturday afternoon and evening from 3PM to 10PM with a Powwow at the Cherokee Nation Powwow Grounds.
Your donation helps to create a gender affirming and culturally grounded space that facilitates reconnecting with tradition while celebrating community.
The event is made possible by the Intercultural Partnership Council of Cherokee County in partnership with Cherokee Nation, Tahlequah Public Library, Tahlequality, and the All Nations Two Spirit Society.
