We are raising funds for our friend's 17yo daughter, Samantha Herrera. (Some will remember her mom, Paola (Acosta) Herrera, who was an exchange student in our home back in the 90s.) Samantha has been diagnosed with a small brain tumor, close to her ear. It requires precise micro-surgery. The procedure will be done the week of June 21 in San Diego, so the need is urgent. The family has no medical insurance, so all donations are welcome! Funds will go towards travel and medical costs.
