At 65 years old, my mom is officially living her dream of becoming a USA athlete and I couldn’t be more proud!! This year, she has qualified to compete in the 2025 Obstacle Course Racing (OCR) World Championships, taking place September 11–14 in Sweden.

OCR is a grueling and dynamic sport that tests strength, endurance, and grit—and though it’s not yet widely recognized, it has a rapidly growing global community. This year, my mom is part of the team of determined, passionate athletes heading to the world stage. However, as this event is not commercially sponsored, the team is self-funding their travel, lodging, and gear.

That is why I’m asking you to help sponsor my mom, Lauri Struble, and the rest of Team USA — even a small amount can go a long way. Funds raised will go towards lodging for the entire team, as well as gear and travel.
