Help fund the New Tutoring Program for IRRVA
Donation protected
New Destiny Tutoring is a team of high school seniors that has partnered with The Immigrant and Refugee Resource Village of Albuquerque (IRRVA) in order to organize a tutoring program that aims to combat educational inequality, especially in low-income public schools. The goal of New Destiny Tutoring is to provide students in need with a place that will give them the needed resources for them to succeed in school. This includes help with work, supplying school materials, and providing mentorship. Through this program, we hope to create an uplifting environment and better opportunities for all within our community.
All donations will go directly towards the purchasing of school materials (chromebooks, notebooks, writing utensils, etc) as well as providing nutritional snacks for the students.
What is IRRVA:
“The Immigrant and Refugee Resource Village of Albuquerque is a 100% volunteer driven African community-based organization that promotes social, economic justice and empowerment of African immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers in New Mexico. Along with IRRVA, there is also a educational and job skills training program named New Mexico Women’s Global Pathways. NMWGP was established by IRRVA founder Nkazi Sinandile along with Asian and African refugee women.
NMWGP is fiscally sponsored by IRRVA and is also a registered non profit.
