Brotherhood TV Series Pilot

Brotherhood is a dramedy about a group of queer college students who discover that they do not fit in with the Greek life culture at Texas Northern University. In response, they unite and establish their own fraternity, Upsilon Nu.
This series deals with various perspectives of the LGBTQ+ community, both internally as a "fraternity" amongst their own and externally as the "outsiders on campus." It has the feel of an ABC Family original with an edge. Think Greek meets The House Bunny.

Freshman Jack Carter wants to find a community just like his best, straight friend Ben, so the two of them decide to rush the largest fraternity on campus, Kappa Beta Tau. However, at this traditional southern school, things aren’t working in his favor. Later, he meets a group of LGBTQ+ friends with the same issues and decides to take action. On the grounds of a defunct frat house, the group of friends begin a new fraternity adventure.

Brotherhood takes place in the story world of “Texas Northern University.” As you can imagine, attempting to shoot on a college campus (dorm rooms, quads, frat houses) to make this project look and feel as real as possible takes up a major chunk of the budget.
Our Story
Over two years ago, we embarked on the Brotherhood project driven by the desire to give LGBTQ+ characters prominence. It was our intention to not just have them present in political discourse but also to showcase their full range of life experiences. Our vision is to create a show that highlights not only the differences in society but also the commonalities that unite us all. This drive has consumed much of our free time and resulted in one complete season and two additional seasons in script development phase.

Our Goal
As we embarked on this project, we were confident that our skills, motivation, and passion would yield an extraordinary tale. Now, we require financial backing. That's why we've initiated a GoFundMe campaign, and we implore you to join us.
Our objective is to complete this project and share it with the world. A successful campaign will enable us to release the pilot episode online, free of charge. Our ultimate aspiration is to expand this into a three-season series. Any excess funds collected via GoFundMe will be allocated towards filming additional episodes and advertising the series to generate the funds necessary for the first season.
