My name is Lindsey Colferai and I am one of the coaches of the Italian National Team for Women's Lacrosse. I have been involved with Italia Lacrosse for almost a decade!

Like many other World Lacrosse members, our players pay their own way for almost every practice, game, tournament, clinic, you name it -- everything that is needed in order to play lacrosse in our country has been the result of hard work off the field. We are so, so proud of our team that managed to qualify for the World Cup back in 2019 at our European Championships.

For this particular World Cup - we are incredibly excited to be playing in the United States where there is an large community of Americans with Italian Heritage. Our hope is to tap into the support network of nostra famiglia and find ways to fundraise the amount of money it is required in order to fully pay for Housing, Meals, Uniforms, Equipment, Flights and other transportation, Staff costs, etc.
