Ralph DeQuebec, a former United States Marine Corps aviation ordnance technician and explosive ordnance disposal technician, embodies true strength. While deployed in 2012, Ralph tragically lost both of his legs above the knee due to a bomb explosion.

Faced with unimaginable loss, Ralph made a life-altering decision: to rise above his disability and conquer new challenges.

Growing up in East Los Angeles, surrounded by gang violence and poverty, Ralph has defied the odds and become a two-time sled hockey Paralympic gold medalist, surfer, coach, motivational speaker, and adventurer. Now, he’s tackling a new frontier – dogsledding in the frozen wilderness of Northern Minnesota.

This documentary will capture Ralph’s incredible achievements, including his new venture into the world of dogsledding. It was these words spoken, "The sum is greater than its parts" that inspired Ralph to pursue the challenge of dogsledding and master it. The film will showcase Ralph as he gains the trust of these powerful animals, navigates harsh environments, and pushes his limits to new heights. Ralph’s goal is to compete in a regional dogsled race event during the winter season of 2026; which will be filmed.

This film is not just about Ralph’s accomplishments but also about the broader message of overcoming adversity. His story is a testament to the power of human will, the strength to overcome the most difficult of obstacles, and the unwavering resolve to succeed.
