Help fund a new DIY music space in Peoria!

Hey all! For those that don't know me, my name is Chris. I have been a part of the Peoria music scene for a long time whether it be booking/promoting, playing in numerous bands, or just attending. I have loved the music and energy this city brings for as long as I can remember, and like many people, I've seen a lot of really awesome spaces for music come and go. The Rail 2 being the last real venue this place has had aside from house venues, but now I finally have a chance to put a DIY space together for bands of all genres and people of all ages. I just need a little monetary help to get live sound equipment, supplies, and if there's enough leftover maybe some visual stuff to make this space exactly what it needs to be.

The spot is in the basement of a smoke shop in West Peoria, so naturally the name we're going with is going to be The Hotbox! If you want to pitch in a buck or two, it'd help out a lot. Either way, expect to see shows happening at the Hotbox real soon! Thanks for reading!
