The Girlfriend Gang Family Picnic – Let’s Make It Happen!
The Girlfriend Gang has always been about one thing: bringing women together to build real, meaningful friendships. Now, we’re ready to take that connection even further—with our very first Girlfriend Gang Family Picnic!
This isn’t just another event. This is a chance for our entire community to come together—members, kids, spouses, partners, and even our dogs—for a day full of connection, laughter, and memories.
Jacobson Park – Lexington, KY
July 25, 2026 | 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
We’re planning a huge, inclusive, come-as-you-are kind of day:
• Kids enjoying bouncy houses & playgrounds
• Dogs running free at the dog park
• Families relaxing picnic-style in the grass
• Games like volleyball and more
• Introverts can bring a blanket and chill
• Extroverts can mingle and make new friends
• And of course… a massive potluck picnic (we’ll provide the main items + organize sides & desserts!)

Why We Need Your Help
Before we can even lock in the date, we have to secure the park—and that requires upfront costs:
• Pavilion Rental: $110
• Special Event Permit (200+ attendees): $225
• Liability Insurance (required): $250
• Bouncy House Rental: $250
• Food (main items, buns, condiments, etc.): $1500
Total Goal: $3,000
Immediate Need: We need $360 upfront just to secure the pavilion + permit so we don’t lose the date.

Once the essentials are covered:
• We’ll organize a community potluck
• Provide sign-ups for sides, desserts, plates, and drinks
• Create a fun, welcoming environment for ALL personalities and ages
• Keep it affordable (or free!) so no one is left out
