Help fund the funeral costs of a friend's brother
Donation protected
Hello, Aristide, one of the footballers I volunteer from the Ivory Coast with very sadly lost his brother Desiré recently when he died from an accident at work, aged 43. They were very close and understandably, Aristide is devastated. Desiré leaves behind a wife, six children, and elderly parents in poor health—relatives he was supporting as the main breadwinner, since the rest of the family is struggling to survive. Aristide is unable to help financially. He is an asylum seeker living in London on just £8 a week. He was forced to flee the Ivory Coast due to political persecution as a member of the opposition party, leaving behind his own wife and three children. His brother had also been helping to support them. Funerals in the Ivory Coast are costly, as it’s customary to invite the whole community and they often last several days. Aristide is desperate to contribute to his brother’s funeral and help his grieving parents. Please help him if you can. Every amount helps. Thank you
