Help make the End White Supremacy event in Salem a reality!
Concerned community members from Salem and the Willamette Valley are organizing an event to highlight the experiences of people of color and energize white allies to take action to end white supremacy. We are raising funds for the following items to make the event a success:
- Rental of a portable toilets (one standard, one ADA compliant) and a portable sink
- A T-shirt for each speaker as a token of appreciation
- Masks for attendees
- Hand sanitizer
- Water
- Food
- Miscellaneous supplies for the day of the event
We estimate that these supplies will cost $1,500. Any funds collected in excess of what is needed to purchase these supplies will be donated to Black Joy Oregon .
The event will be Saturday, April 24 from 1:00pm-5:00pm in Salem, Oregon. Tickets (free) are available here .
