The co-founders came together online, in 2005, for the purpose of creating a spiritual path that is based on the Elven spiritual viewpoint put forth in Professor JRR Tolkien's Middle-Earth stories; collectively known as the "Legendarium”, and including “The Hobbit” and “Lord of the Rings”. However, most of the materials used for the creation, and practice of the Elven Path are embodied in the professor’s posthumous publications, which would be considered the origins, or the historical back-stories to Middle-Earth. These especially include “The Silmarillion”, the “Lost Tales I and II”, “Unfinished Tales”, and “Morgoth's Ring” (Vol. X of the History of Middle-Earth, or HoME, series).
The reasons for doing so are varying, due to the individual, but overall, there is a prevalent understanding that Tolkien's stories, which he began writing in 1917, are a valid mytho-history, and, after applying this deep, and touching material to our current spiritual understandings, it has been discovered the materials do indeed practically relay all one needs to experience deep, and holistic spiritual growth—and, if there are outside ideas present already that help fill it in, then so much the better.
Tië eldaliéva is not a Role-Playing Game (RPG, of any kind), but a genuine spiritual practice that, although best practiced as a standalone, may enhance certain understandings of any, and all spiritual backgrounds that are based on love, balance, and the flow of Nature. While we welcome those who are traversing an identity discovery path, (e.g. types that are exploring "elvenness" through the Otherkin paradigm), the actual intentions of the Elven Path are toward the PATH itself, rather than the identity of the traveler.
Expanding Our Borders; Solidifying Our Community
We have recently merged our activities with those of YouTuber, Kimber'el Eventide of the "High Elven Wisdom And Love" channel, in order to start the process of making this way of life more accessible for everyone to learn about the ways of the Elves & Valar, in a daily, practical sense, and to offer this Path to others as a life choice, (including, and more than a lifestyle choice). We are excited to this union, and the prospects it offers for us to share the adventure of creating a spiritual path that we believe will unite monotheists, and polytheists together in a beautiful Sacred Space.
Organizationally, we are establishing the "Tië eldaliéva Elven Spiritual Path Charitable Trust" as an umbrella for a broad range of activities. Our org bylaws prohibit us, the trustees, from contributing personal finances to help the org grow—we must rely on our community to fund our growth FOR the community. Therefore, we ask you for any amount of funding that you can contribute, as the future members of this online organization, (and one day offline organization. Offline, we even envision building an Elven temple, and Rivendell-like Elven retreat space wherein we can teach, give everyone a serene place to visit, and come together to express sacred Music and Dance.)
The first step is to formally establish the organization with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The registration fee is $600 USD. We thank you so much for your generosity, and cannot wait to reach this goal with you all to make this a reality to so many Tolkien lovers, and Elven souls.
Here are our 8 core beliefs presented by priestess Kimber’el and what missions this organization will be structured on:
