Jennifer Giunta is raising funds for the Duncan Hadley Bell Memorial Scholarship to be offered through Nyack High School.

Duncan was a Nyack resident for much of his life. He was also a teacher, volunteer, community member, husband, father, son and more! He found life fascinating and did all he could do inspire that feeling in others.

The purpose of the scholarship is to help a student with financial need who shows promise/interest in one or more of the following fields:

Robotics

Engineering

Carpentry

Botany/horticulture

Theater (technical direction)

Duncan was an inventor - he often joked that he had "solved world hunger." He enjoyed combining these interests in creative ways. It's my hope to keep his spirit alive by assisting someone deserving in applying these skills in ways that help others.
