Hi everyone! Thank you so much for helping the first EVER Commonplace Zine Fest come to life on November 1st, 2025. It was amazing to see independent and Massachusetts-based zines, magazines, newsletters and miscellaneous publications come together to host a Boston zine festival, and we need your help to make it happen again next year!

For those unfamiliar, a zine festival is a public event where creators of zines gather to sell, trade, and showcase their work. It’s all about community building! There are too few centralized places or spaces for zine fiends in Boston, & we want to bring back that magic!

The festival would rely 100% off of donations in order to pay for event rental space, the set-up and any workshops/panels/discussions, as well as eliminate or at the very least decrease costs for vendors and guests. If you are able to chip in at all, please feel free to do so anytime between now and next summer (our main fundraising season)! Every dollar counts! The more you can give, the more accessible we can make this event for the organizers, vendors, & guests. Thank you so much & we can’t wait to host again!
